Departments
Coursework at Hollins is organized across the following departments. The full list of courses, prerequisites and credit values appears in the curriculum guide.
Curriculum guide
The Royal curriculum guide is the single reference for course selection. It lists every course offered, the graduation requirements, and the sequence for each pathway.
Advanced coursework
Students can accelerate along four routes, and many combine them.
- Cambridge AICE. An international diploma program worth up to 45 college credit hours at Florida public universities.
- Advanced Placement. College level courses with an end of year examination.
- Dual enrollment. College courses taken for both high school and college credit.
- AVID. A study skills and college readiness elective that runs alongside the rest of a student's timetable.

Semester examination schedules are published each term by the assistant principal for curriculum, alongside the state assessment calendar set by the district.

Army JROTC
The Army JROTC program fields a color guard, a drill team, an exhibition team, an honor guard and a raider team, and is supported by a senior army instructor and an army instructor.
College and career center
The college and career center supports applications, scholarship deadlines, transcript requests and post secondary planning, working with the guidance department.
